5 Tips for Efficient Home Climate Control

1. Let a smart thermostat do the thinking

Heating or cooling an empty house is the most common waste we see. A smart thermostat or the scheduling feature built into most modern air conditioning systems lets you match comfort to your actual routine, warming or cooling rooms just before you use them and easing off overnight.

2. Zone your home

You do not need every room at the same temperature. Multi split systems and zoned controls let you cool the living room in the afternoon and the bedroom in the evening rather than the whole house all day.
